My pal, Mike Grenville, at unofficial industry body, 160 Characters is running a “Heros and Villains” vote for the mobile industry.
Not that I want to influence you in any way…..but the right answers are Andrew Bud of mBlox (hero) and sms.ac (villain).
I feel very sad about sms.ac as despite lots of early promise and potential, as well as a very visionary and evidently charismatic CEO, they have gone down the spamming path and there’s too many unsavory rumours flying about for at least some of them not to be true.
I’ve been on the receiving end of spam from this company, so can vouch that certainly this accusation is true. More at Russell Beattie a while back and here at Rip Off Report.
