		<description>You&#039;re right on -- these items (and probably Google payment for mobile, when that&#039;s ready) *are* Google mobile for now, and it&#039;s great precisely because it&#039;s not a search engine or portal. 

You&#039;re reference to Marek is a subtle observation that many of these apps include &quot;search-like&quot; capabilities, but they are absolutely task driven in a very specific context (navigation and traffic) rather than search/browse driven. Once we realize that, a whole bunch of new apps start to make sense where people find data and use it to act or decide on something.
