My Coke Rewards is very successful here in the U.S., as I discovered when I posted about it on my personal blog - that post still gets between 15 and 20 hits a day, almost all of them from Google searches on promotion-related keywords.

Alphanumeric codes are printed on the insides of the bottlecaps and entered at the promotion's Web site. A recent announcement about "big things coming in April" said that soon, participants will be able to submit the codes via SMS or a desktop widget.

The SMS option would be nice, because then I wouldn't feel compelled to carry bottlecaps around in my pocket until I could get to my computer.

Nice ideas, yes that would work a treat. Building up a bank of credits for redeemable goods. As long as the credits were worthwhile, otherwise the cost of sending the purchased product code would be worth more than the voucher points
