Hi,

I agree, though it will take many years for people to forgo the comfort of having a laptop.
I am not sure about projectors (there are now holographic projectors, and that means the
angle of incidence between the projector and the surface is not important, the image
is always in focus ...)
I can see a situation where your mobile phone/device is the CPU, memory and network interface, but that you use a mouse, kb and screen. so at work you choose a station sit down and the phone synchs to the local MMI devices.
This has the advantage of having the best of both worlds.
Lastly I have a folding kb for an iPaq and it is brilliant, sturdy, folds to 1/3 of its size, and it is a real shame that it cannot be used for my phone.

A lot of mobile web naysayers say this type of technology will render mobile 'small screen' websites redundant. Having to stop and find a suitable surface reduces 'mobility' IMO. I see it as a half way point between a laptop and a true mobile experience.
