Carlo,
You might like to have a look at CLIQ Radio (www.cliqradio.com) as they say, "Instant Music Buying for Radio Listeners".

I have to agree. I think the biggest hurdle currently is making the whole equation work. I'd say the closest two companies to a full-on mobile music equation are Nokia and Apple. Apple quite obviously has the loading of music down pat. They've been making it dead-easy to load music onto a portable device for years now. However, their playet, the iPhone, has a tinny mono speaker, basically-proprietary audio jack, and no A2DP support. It's difficult to *enjoy* music once you have it on the thing.

Conversely, Nokia's N95 and other music-related handsets sport a wide-open 3.5mm audio jack, standard for nearly any set of headphones or external speakers, beautiful stereo speakers with all sorts of equalizer settings, and A2DP for stereo Bluetooth. It's incredibly easy to enjoy music from your Nseries handset. However, it's a complete nightmare to get music ONTO the device, save for dragging and dropping the files, which eliminates the possibilities that playlists and whatnot bring.

They're both so close, and yet so far from the final part of the equation. I wonder who'll get it first?
