		<description>Carlo, I find your concern very valid, and it was duly noted here in Nokia - including among the Friend View team and Chat teams.

I&#039;m not an official Nokia spokesperson, but Nokia&#039;s service strategy is *not* to build walled gardens. Quite the opposite, as I see it, Nokia has always stood for openness. We do understand that walled gardens don&#039;t fly, especially when dealing with social services (of course, there are some rare exceptions, where walled garden approach is the only way to build a great experience, but I digress...)

However, when you are in early stages of R&amp;D, as in Beta Labs, it is often easier to build and experiment with closed systems. Therefore, what you see at Beta Labs, doesn&#039;t accurately reflect Nokia&#039;s service strategy.

Anyway, this cry for openness is a really important point. Thanks for the reminder - and if you see Nokia doing something silly, I hope you keep reminding us in the future too :)</description>
